Fern Resort was founded with the support of a government joint-funding project established to promote rural development in Mae Hong Son. From the very beginning, our vision has been to create a place where tourism and nature live in balance — protecting the environment while supporting the local community.

Rooted in the principles of eco-tourism, Fern Resort stands as a model of how travel can bring benefits to both people and the planet. Our mission is to preserve the natural beauty of Mae Hong Son and offer visitors an authentic, nature-based experience that reflects the spirit of Northern Thailand.

We offer simple yet comfortable accommodation, featuring air-conditioned rooms with hot and cold water, clean bedding, and all essential amenities. Nothing excessive — only what you truly need for a restful stay. Around the resort, trees have been carefully planted to provide food and shelter for birds and local wildlife, allowing guests to enjoy the rich biodiversity of the surrounding forest throughout the year.

Our team is made up entirely of local staff, most from nearby Karen and Shan villages. Their warmth, sincerity, and natural friendliness bring genuine hospitality to every guest experience — service from the heart, not from a handbook. This authenticity is what makes Fern Resort truly special.
